Jobs that are Perfect for Introverts
Having a career that fits your personality type can be very beneficial in the long run. Not only can it make you happier but focusing on a field that’s a great fit can highlight your strengths and turn into a very lucrative career.
Due to my own personality type of being an introvert, I realized that I excel more in job roles that are not team driven and ones that allow me to work remotely. These roles allows me to tune out distractions and lets me dive into my work.
I thought it would be GREAT to compile a list of jobs that are PERFECT for introverts!
1. Blogger
Seeing that I blog, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t list this one first. Blogging has been amazing for me, it allows me to work under my own time and focus in on content that I’m passionate about. I can see this as life changing and plan to one day be able to do this full time.
Tips To On Starting A Blog:
1. When thinking about starting, choose a niche that you are passionate about, one that you feel that you will be able to invest a lot of time on and one that already makes money. Some great examples are: Food, Health, Fitness and Finance niches.
2. Take a blogging course that teaches you how to start a blog from start to finish. Ones that navigate you through setting up a blog, advertising, content and social media outreach.
3. Soak up everything that you can about blogging. Google and Pinterest are your best friends! Search Blogging for Beginners and a wealth of information will come up.
2. Sell FBA on Amazon
Back in 2014, I started selling on Amazon after reading an interview that The Selling Family did. I only sold on Amazon for a short while because I was in the process of moving to a different state and the moving process became my focus. However, within a month and a half, I was still about to make a $7000 in profit! It was amazing!
Amazon FBA program is a great for introverts and those that want to design their own career. I plan to fully go back into selling on Amazon myself!

3. Become a virtual assistant
Virtual assistant, commonly referred to as VA’s are generally hired out to complete online administrative tasks for companies. These tasks can include anything from emails, social media management, customer service, data entry, etc. VA positions can be full-time, part time and both long and short term. Their ideal for introverts and those looking to work from home.
Virtual assistant jobs can make on average of $35-50 dollars an hour. Here some tips on becoming a virtual assistant:
- Consider taking a virtual assistant training course. These course are generally go at your on pace and can teach you the necessary skills for becoming virtual assistant.
- Search sites for virtual assistant opportunities on sites like Freelancer and Upwork. Be sure to make sure you profile is completely filled out in detail. Listing all your skill sets that are relevant to virtual assistant work.
4. Join TaskRabbit
This is great for finding local jobs in your area. Similar to the idea behind driving for Uber. You take on tasks via TaskRabbit. These tasks can range from running errands, buying groceries, moving items and so much more.
To become a tasker, you can sign up here by completely filling out the registration form. Once this is completed, you will attend a local information session and from there, start accepting tasks.
5. Transcriptionist
Transcription is an excellent job for introverts. It is the job of turning audio and video into text. Someone in this role listens to the spoken word of audio and video and turns it into a document that can be used for different purposes. Many podcasts look for transcriptionists to type the audio from episodes to be used as blog posts. This roles are also used for things such as legal documents and training.
If you’re interested in being a transcriptionist, this is a skill that is learned through training. It’s not a great fit for everyone and passing a test is required. It is not a easy and its not a great rich job. Average transcription work can pay from $15 to $20 an hour.

6. Love to Read? Try Proofreading
Proofreading is a perfect job for those that love to read and for those that are introverts. It require no experience! With web content being KING, it’s a high in demand job and one that you could start today if you wanted.
As a proofreader, you’ll look over your clients content thoroughly. You’re not an editor but more of someone giving content a second look

7. Become an Online Stock Photographer
Ever thought that the pictures that’s in your phone right now can be making you money. You don’t always need the fancy equipment!
Actually, those photos can be worth a lot! As we mentioned online content is KING! And there are content creators looking for the photos that you’re already probably taking to add along their content.
If stock photography is new to you, it’s photos that are for sale. That simple. There are stock photo sites where you can upload your work into. If someone buys the photo you sale, you earn a percentage of that sale. This can lead to passive income as one photo can be purchased an unlimited amount of times.

8. Graphic Designer
If you have a knack for design and graphics, then this career is perfect for an introvert personality. It allows you to work from home, have flexibility and be creative.
Graphic Designers find clients and post a portfolio of your work on sites such as Fiverr, Freelancer and Upwork.
Graphic Designers tasks can include but are not limited to:
- Logo design
- Flyers
- Social Media design and Layout
- Packaging Design
- Book Covers
- Invitations
- and much more!
9. Freelance Writing
Do you like writing? Then taking a job as a writer can be good for you. You don’t have to have a contract with content companies. You can find writing opportunities on sites like Freelancer and Upwork. Many freelance writing beginners start off on their own and build lucrative careers from there.
